Le domaine central de recherche du LAL
est la physique des particules, c'est-à-dire l'étude des
constituants ultimes de la matière,
de leurs interactions mutuelles et
de l'origine de leurs masses. Le laboratoire a étendu ses
investigations à la physique des astroparticules,
à l'étude des phénomènes d'énergies
extrêmes et à certains secteurs de l'astrophysique, ainsi qu'à la
cosmologie.

The PhotoDet 2012 workshop will be held at the LAL from 13th to 15th of June 2012 The workshop is devoted to recent developments in photo-sensors and their applications in different fields like high energy physics, nuclear physics, cosmic-ray physics, astronomy, cosmology and medical sciences. |
The Higgs Hunting 2012 workshop will be held at the LAL from 18th to 20th of July 2012 We are organizing the 3rd in a series of Higgs Hunting workshop to discuss the results, the phenomenology, the prospects for this physics in the light of the Higgs boson(s) search results from the Tevatron and LHC collider experiments. |
